ENCUENTRO

Well . . . . I think that this blog will begin with the better way to begin. Last Monday I received an interesting cell phone voice message. The person began the message saying something like this (in a strange Spanish): "Hola, me llamo Cristóbal y soy Veterano de Guerra Británico y he combatido contra ti"(Hello, my name is Cristobal I am Veteran of Great Britain and I had fought against you).
The signal of the cell phone was poor, but at last we could talk and I invited him to dine in my home and to stay in the night. We talked about the war and our own lives, our past and our future (we talked a lot and the rest of the people there, went to sleep and we still were talking). The encounter was an important life experience for me and I am sure that will be not the last. I invited him and his wife to come to my home the next travel to my country.

His name is Christopher Jackson. I found in him a very kind and good person and I really think that talking this to you all, is the best thinkable way to begin the blog of this expedition.

Bueno . . . Pienso que este blog comenzará de la mejor manera. El Lunes pasado recibí un interesante mensaje de voz en mi celular. La persona comenzó el mensaje diciendo algo así (en un extraño castellano):"Hola me llamo Cristóbal y soy Veterano de Guerra Británico y he combatido contra ti".
La señal del celular era pobre, pero al final pudimos hablar y lo invité a cenar y a quedarse en mi casa. Hablamos de la guerra y nuestras vidas, nuestro pasado y nuestro futuro (hablamos un montón y el resto de la gente presente se fue yendo a dormir y nosotros seguimos hablando). El encuentro fue una importante experiencia de vida para mí estoy seguro de que no será la última. He invitado a él y a su mujer a venir a mi casa en la próxima vez que viaje a mi país.
Su nombre es Christopher Jackson. He descubierto en él a una amable y buena persona y realmente creo que contarles esto a todos ustedes, es el mejor modo imaginable de comenzar el blog de esta expedición.
